Always a delight hearing Jason! What a great episode to take us out of 2024.
Answer to the riddle 1: Teapot
Answer to riddle 2: The girl was a passenger in the car.

New Year’s resolution has always been to have no resolutions but this year I think I need to focus on some more personal projects and finish designing them. I have about a dozen designs I should have finished by now waiting to be uploaded to my Redbubble marketplace called Spruce Tavern, some will take more work than others but my goal is to get them completed and uploaded. I could be making some money by now if I could just get them finished and up for sale. Fortunately, many of my current designs do okay especially over the last two months assuming they were bought as gifts for the holidays. It’s fun to design for yourself and see what yields as far as like-minded ideas go, many times it’s not at all what I expected. I think the Peanut Duck stuff is still available! According to my sales dashboard, “Whatever It Is I’m Against It” and “Meet the Marx Bros.” are my biggest sellers and that makes me really happy, my 2025 goal is to get a bigger variety of designs uploaded so hopefully some new favorites.

Any link available for those horrible Vinnie Barbarino and Fonzie impersonations you spoke about? I had some of those novelty albums too, who had any idea they’d be discussed somewhere 45 years later…

Happy New Year to all my fellow Sneakers far and wide, let’s all work together to keep the world from destroying itself!!

  2. Happy new year, Dragsters and Sneakers everywhere!

Great Boxing Day fun with Jason as always.

As I’m even older than you guys, Jonathan’s question about Neil Young impersonations took me right back to the late 1970s, when listening to John Peel’s hugely eclectic show on Radio 1 was a beloved late night ritual. One night, he played a fantastic piss-take of Neil Young by National Lampoon’s Tony Scheuren which, although I only heard it that one time, I’ve never forgotten. Could it possibly be on YouTube? You bet! It’s called Southern California Brings Me Down – and here’s a link for your listening pleasure (song starts around 1:10).

Have to agree with Ed on the teapot riddle – and maybe the girl going down the one-way street wasn’t in a car at all?

Keep on Sneakin’ in the Free World!

    UPDATE!! (Read it loud!)
My name has been brought up as a topic before and it’s uncanny resemblance to the podcast’s title. I’ll assure you now as I did to a fellow sneaker then, who called me out on it, (I don’t remember who), that Draganski is authentically me and my legal name. It is polish by decent but adopted several generations back which is far back as we can take it. It’s just a small slice of glorious kismet that we connected!

Also, my Mom LOVED Sha-Na-Na too and yes, we watched that show every Saturday evening for years as we prepared dinner. God Bless Bowser and that big open mouth of his….
