OMG!!! And LOLZ, peoples, LOLZ!!! We’re fifty episodes old and old enough to know better! Happy birthday!! I mean, happy anniversary! (Throws confetti in the air and kills birds)
Actually, episode 52 is our real anniversary, but everyone gets excited when you hit magical numbers that are divisible by five so we decided to celebrate our fiftieth show by having an all questions episode in which Ian and Dave answered listeners’ questions. We had a lot of questions from a couple of listeners and Ian and Dave tackled them all – even the difficult no pants question.
Learn Dave’s favourite Beatles song; Ian’s comedic inspirations; how the show is produced; the origins of the show; why Dave is a teetotalling prig; their literary influences; their favourite comic books; how Dave got cancer – and survived (so far); the secret of Sneaky Dragon; and whether Ty Templeton will ever be a back as a guest.
We know it’s long, but, come on, it’s the fiftieth episode! Deal with it.

Some of my questions were not intended to be so serious. I apologize for any uncomfortableness. And really didn’t expect you guys to answer those. But good I could keep up my reputation as your least favorite listener.
Most of your questions provided great fodder for conversation, Thomas. I think Ian and I are immune to “uncomfortableness”. As to your reputation, it’s better to be talked about than not talked about. π
Some of it felt uncomfortable to me. Again, I apologize. I wrote all those questions after only listening to two episodes. Now that I am much more familiar with you and your show, I feel I could asked much more ineresting and engaging questions. I look forward to the podcast every week and enjoy it very much. Thank you.
Geez, I thought my wife asked the most personal question on the whole darn show!
We’ll be doing more listeners’ questions shows in the future and probably attempting another “only one topic/no digressions” show again as well. You’ll have plenty of chances to embarrass us then. π
Seriously though, thanks for participating and thanks for listening!
Nothing to apologize for. Except for Dave. He knows what he did.
