Hola, Sneakers! This week’s show is definitely 117. Don’t ask me how we know (apparently there’s some sort of complicated algorithm for figuring these things out), but I do know that we have a great show for you this week. First up: we won! Ian and David discuss Sneaky Dragon’s third place finish (tied) in a local paper’s Best Local Podcast category. The boys were very chuffed. Then: we won again! Ian and David discuss Canada’s gold medal win Olympics men’s hockey, but obviously the winners were everyone on the West Coast who had to get up at four in the morning to watch a hockey game. Also on the show: Ian lost his “RappBattlez” against Dave Shumka from Stop Podcasting Yourself (which came in first in Best Local Podcasts, bee tee dubs); he witnessed and participated in a terrible accident (“Participated in”? Is that right?); Dave thinks he wouldn’t do well in an emergency; Ian calls IKEA the “relationship destroyer” – Dave uses that to describe their meatballs; the boys say a heartfelt farewell to comedy maestro Harold Ramis; Ian praises Ghostbusters in some detail, a film Dave doesn’t enjoy that much, but blames it on home video; and finally, they end the show and prove why they’re third (tied) best at what they do!
