It’s 1995, do you know where your Jane Austen based teen comedy is? Hosts Jason Dedrick, Eric Fell and Vicky Van cast their memories back to a time when Paul Rudd looked pretty much the same. Will things work out for the future Ant-Man and Batgirl?
Also, an online poll was taken to see what high schoolers were under-agedly drinking in 1995 and the hosts sample the results.
They also create a tribute drink called the As If. Here’s how to make it:
- Combine equal parts champagne and orange juice in a champagne flute
- Add one ounce white creme de cacao
It’s a drink the producer’s wife called, “Actually good!”
If you make the As If or come up with one of your own, please send a picture to by clicking here! Even of you don’t, we’d still love to hear from you.

“We remember some excellent orange wine at Manydown, made from Seville oranges, entirely or chiefly, and should be very much obliged to you for the receipt” (i.e. recipe) — Letter to Althea Bigg from Jane Austen, 1817.
She was also fond of mead.
