Reading this to my son last night (he’s six) and he squealed with laughter when the Thom(p)sons drove into the palm tree. I had to read the ‘Mirage’ moments about 3 times before he’d let me put the book down! Is that the age this schtick appeals to? He hasn’t even reached the “7 to 70” demographic yet…
