Hey, Sneakers! How’s it goin’, eh? This week on Sneaky Dragon: Canada is excited; boring political talk; Ian was a junior political cartoonist; more boring political talk; we’ll love you forever; the Wizard of Oz is a dick; Ian says, “Flying monkeys, no”; Spider-Man beats up old people; we’re dumb, but you know the answer; Ian appreciates the film Tomorrowland and the video game Lego Dimensions; Dave finds what he was looking for; and, finally, an incredible offer.
If you really want to take Dave up on his offer, send one (or a couple) of blank CDs to:
David Dedrick
26833 34th Avenue
Aldergrove, BC V4W 3G8
and he will send you a “mix tape” back. (You can let him know a favourite genre, but you’re still taking a chance here!)

Hi both! Would you be able to send mixes to the UK? Exciting and international. Ooooooooooohhhhh.
This offer is only for people who live in the entire world. Anyone who wants to send me a CD can participate!
Ian is correct to suspect that Cavalia, the company that puts on those big horsey extravaganzas, is not part of Cirque Du Soleil. But it was started by one of the original founders of Cirque which is probably why their shows look so Cirque-ish.
FYI: “Run Joey Run” by David Geddes is a truly awesome entry in the “youth death ballad” genre. Maybe you just had to be a 13-year-old girl in 1975 to truly appreciate it. “Daddy, please don’t…it wasn’t his fault!”

See also “Billy Don’t Be A Hero” by Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods, 1974, and “Rocky” (no, not the theme from Rocky) by Austin Roberts (1975).
Yes, Louise is right. Cavalia has no affiliation with Cirque du Soleil. I demand a retraction from Dave.
