With Rob Rebselj. Bonjour, mes amis! Well, due to some technical problems we had to re-record our show this week, so we’re sorry it’s a little late. But practice makes perfect so it’s worth the wait, right? Right? This week Dave’s friend and former collaborator joins Ian and Dave in the boiling hot Sneaky Dragon studio to discuss working on fanzines back in the olden times; his bottomless well of chutzpah; his carefully thought out plan to move to Quebec; his job as a French-English interpreter; his carefully nurtured allergy to work; and his mid-life crisis that led to a new career in music with his band Robbob et Limoilou Libre. To prove it, he plays two fun songs in the studio.
Rob’s first album Limoilou Libre can be found here for free on Bandcamp. His new album, the multimedia extravaganza Godzilla vs. Poutine, is currently being recorded, but here is a taster.
And here are a couple of videos of Rob’s band, Robbob et Limoilou Libre with the comely Robbobettes:

Not sure the lost episode could be better than this one! Great stuff, so much CanCon! CBC’s Ideas did a two-episode series on the Indian Act & attempts made in the early ’70s to change/eliminate it that I thought was pretty interesting: http://www.cbc.ca/ideas/episodes/2010/02/22/white-paper-red-paper-cd/
I’ll just leave this section of the Nardwuar vs. Rollins interview here.

Thanks, Marcus! That’s great. You see, we are not big liars!
(Also, Henry Rollins is a pretty good sport for a natural-born grump.)
